DILL SEED, INDIAN, 6 - 14 oz. jars

Dill Seeds (Anethum Graveolens) are reminiscent of mild caraway seeds but have more of a distinct and milder taste. They are small, oval and parchment-colored. Use Dill as you would caraway seeds. Dill is used widely in dishes from Scandinavia and from central and eastern Europe. Its history in Europe begins with the ancient Romans, who believed Dill to be a vitality symbol. The Greeks used it as a cure for hiccups and it was used to ward off witchcraft in the Middle Ages. Today Dill Seeds are used for soothing digestive problems.
