Don't be fooled into thinking this candy is licorice. While it does have a strong licorice flavor base, the rose-scent augmentation converts ordinary anise into a powerful "deodorant" for one's breath, far more effective than those other "curiously strong" mints. I have had to try all kinds of breath mints for my boss, for years -- nothing ever worked, until now. These completely eradicated all the problems, resulting in delightfully fragrant anise breath.
