This is a unique, natural fish product from premium quality Suree brand. Fish powder with chili can be eaten as a snack or added to a lot of different types of dishes. It's very good sprinkled over a salad. We also suggest this product mixed with fish sauce & lime juice then serving with steamed jasmine rice. Also goes well with namya curry or added to Thai vegetable soup (kaeng liang). One jar goes a long way (the jar is quite large), as this is dried fish so it takes a lot to fill up an 8 oz jar. Flaky fish with lots of chili. It's quite hot, so I'm not sure if I could eat it as a "snack" as the description suggests. Great for adding flavor to plain vegetables, or adding more heat (and flavor, of course!) to other Thai dishes. I think it could be used like a Thai version of Japanese salmon furikake (over steamed rice) as well.
This 8 oz jar is filled to the top! It'll last me at least a year even if I find many uses for it.
