I love this. When I'm cooking and I forgot about the tomatoes, or I don't have enough, I add this.
The problem is, I love trying things... before I'm done the pot is empty.
So I always try to have at least three to four pots in the cupboard.
The taste - delicious! Good tasty tomatoes, a little salt, onions, sugar and basil.
Personally I only use it as a base, but if you want you add a little cream and sherry and you have a nice soup. Don't forget a few fresh basil leaves when you serve it.
