As with all of Papa Dan's beef jerky products, we start with 100% certified USDA choice beef steak, cut into thick slices and soaked in Papa Dan's barbecue sauce marinade for up to 18 hours in a specially designed vacuum tumbler. This process opens the pores of the beef and allows the marinade mixture to penetrate deep into the steak strips.
The finished beef jerky strips are moist and tender to chew, not like the leather-tough flat jerky in most convenience stores.
8 oz (1/2 lb) bags are vacuum sealed to lock in the freshness and extend the shelf life up to 1 year.
