I'll keep this short... this is very different from most brands of jerky, but it's actually quite excellent. It's heavily marinated, but not slimy, and the flavor is sublime. It actually tastes more like high-quality chinese food than standard issue truck-stop jerky, and that seems to be what it's aiming for. It's probably not for everyone, but i'm a full-on convert! I plan to try all their other flavors as soon as I get the chance.
To the reviewer who had a freakout about all the so-called chemicals... well, there's nothing in here that's not in most commercial brands of jerky (sodium nitrate, etc), and it's made in california, not "some country where they don't regulate chemical additives" as you'd have us believe.
Give it a shot if you're an open-minded jerky fan!
