TwinLab Cod Liver Oil, Emulsified Norwegian, Orange, 12 Ounces (Pack of 3)
Read the ingredients/label before purchasing this as a "cheap" alternative to Carlson's, as I was looking for. 1 tablespoon only contains 4.5g of CLO - a TEASPOON of Carlson's contains more, so you really aren't saving anything here. The same tablespoon has 5g of carbs, so this is also a bad choice if you are doing keto or TCD - especially if you are looking for CL/Fish oil to be a big fat source.
Reader Reviews
I had cellulitis twice in 9 months for which I was hospitalized x2. While in the hospital, I spent 5 days each visit on IV antibiotics. When I returned home my affected leg was twice the size of my nonaffected leg. It remained that way- swollen and painful to the touch, unable to bend my knee for 2 years. My doctor said I had lymph edema. NOTHING worked to remove the inflamation, not even the water pills I was on for blood pressure. I decided to try this cod liver oil because it had the great omega 3's and low and behold---- with just two doses- two days of taking the cod liver oil, the swelling was COMPLETELY gone and my ankle was down to a normal size for the first time in 2 years! I didn't take it again for a few weeks, and slowly the swelling crept back in. So I took the cod liver oil again and got the same result I had when I first took it. Within 2 days, the swelling was gone. I am convinced without the least little doubt, that it is the cod liver oil that did it. I have since tried the cod liver oil gel caps, and Carlson's lemon flavored Norwegian cod liver oil, but neither of them worked for me like the Twin Labs EMULSIFIED Norwegian cod liver oil. The taste is a little stronger than the Carlson's, but not at all bad if you mix it in a glass of orange juice as I do each morning. I can handle the mild taste for the cure. The Carlson's is a little milder tasting but just didn't work for me like this one, and it doesn't mix well in juice like this emulsified one does. I buy the orange flavor and put it in OJ and it tastes fine! Once opened, I always keep mine in the refrigerator to preserve it even though it doesn't say you have to on the bottle. In my heart of hearts, I truly believe this product will save my life. I don't think we yet know all the good it can do. Well I will be taking mine every day... and when they DO discover its many values, I will be in good standing. And with a normal sized leg to boot!
