I have purchased this product in a grocery store. They were not hard to open. It seems the cuts for the ones I bought from Amazon are flawed in some way and are harder to open. The cut skips a space and therefore you have to use a knife or scissors to open. Very inconvenent. Otherwise the product is consistent. <br /> <br />I love putting this in hot chocolate with a little extra water. Get a 13 oz drink that has the flavor of cinnomen and chocolate! Love it!

I purchased this item along with several other flavored Splenda sweetners at several local grocery stores. This is my favorite flavor but I found all the packages, no matter what the flavor, to be very hard to open. When you tear at the notch, only a very small opening appears and if you are pouring it into a hot beverage, the steam makes the product clump up and clog the tiny opening. The only thing that works for me is to cut the top off with scissors! The folks at Splenda need to rework the package a little but the product inside is great!
