These jars are 36 cents per ounce so it is not a bad idea to get the small jars over the larger jar. Since I am not a frequent jam/jelly consumer, I can keep the regular size jars for far too long. However, this marmalade is so light yet delicious, drippy not hearty with peel or chunks that I have already consumed two jars soon after the package was delivered.
The ingedients are sugar, oranges, cane sugar and pectin. I would prefer to have some promise that the oranges are pesticide free. There is an American brand that offers an inexpensive organic marmalade but I was charmed by the idea of these little jars and in fact, I was charmed to see them when I opened the box.
I plan to use this marmalade in lieu of orange flavoring, orange zest and orange juice in recipes since I do not usually keep oranges or orange juice at home.
