:: A & J's Lasagna Chips :: <br /> <br />At first, I thought I liked these. During say the first bag or two. They seemed to do pretty well served with some hummus dip. <br /> <br />Over time, by about bag three or four, started developing an increasing distaste for them. Stood out in particular was something about the experience of eating thick cold chunks of compressed white flour. This eventually became rather repellent. <br /> <br />I tried unloading the remainders of the case by stashing them in mum's chips cabinet during a visit to her house. Her husband is a big fan of chips and salt snacks; also she serves different chips and dips any time she has company at the house. No luck there, though, even at that abode where chips normally enjoy fast turnaround; after the first bag, the rest got roundly rejected. <br /> <br />Kind of makes me sad really. The package reads out that it is a small-time operation, faithful son carrying on his Mom's special recipe, etc. It's the kind of product I'd have wanted to support. However, some palates just won't obey here. <br /> <br />Obviously, chacun son gout. Hopefully others might enjoy more, and retain the initial good impression I had during first bag, without it changing later to rejection. :/

Received the first batch over a month ago and let me say that upon opening the first bag and trying my first piece it completely blew me away. Suffice to say that my waistline wasn't too happy but my taste buds were singing in flavour! I ate the whole bag in one sitting and from that point forth had to make a concerted effort to ration the remaining batch. Note, if not sold on this on their own try it in almost any soup, instant noodles and the flavour enhancement is sensational. Cheers.
