Golden Barrel Old Fashioned Funnel Cake Mix - 2 lb

Just add water and this delicious, light pastry is not only easy to make, but a guaranteed family favorite, too! Top it either with confectioner's sugar, sugar and cinnamon, or fruit and whipped cream for a unique treat. Funnel Cakes are a fried pastry snack - consisting of batter that is poured through a "funnel" (or specialized funnel cake pitcher) directly into a rounded mold ring approximately 6 " to 8" in diameter and then immersed into a funnel cake (shallow) fryer. Directions: Mix well with water about 13 1/2 ounces per 1 pound of mix to desired consistency. Pour through funnel into hot oil (350 degrees). Fry 2 - 3 minutes until golden brown and turn. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
