Very tasty tea -- light taste of lemon adds a nice touch. Very mild, and good as a hot tea or iced.

My two children are both in bed sick with a fever and sore throat. I went in to ask them what type of tea they would like (they always drink tea when they're sick) and both of them were asking for the Lemon Myrtle tea, which I found to be a bit surprising. I keep the pantry stocked with all sorts of different teas including peppermint and orange herbal (their favorite, or so I thought), and I wasn't even sure this was the tea they meant, but I made it anyway.
When it was done I put it over ice and sweetened it for them and they happily drank the entire cup. My husband is also a big fan of this tea, but for some reason it upsets my stomach despite chamomile being one of the main ingredients.
The tea is very aromatic, with the scents of lemongrass and chamomile coming through. It goes well with Vietnamese food, probably due to the lemongrass flavor.
Despite the word "lemon" being in the name, it's actually lemon myrtle, which is a plant native to eastern subtropical Australia, aptly named because of the plants lemon scent.
If you're looking for something different, and enjoy decaffeinated green tea (especially organic) then you might enjoy this tea. On the other hand, if you enjoy a strong caffeinated lemon flavored tea, Snapple Le-mmm-on Flavored Black Tea, Tea Bags, 20-Count Boxes (Pack of 12) might be a better choice for you.
