2004 Spring Buds Zun Cha Tea Leaves - Organic Pu-erh Teas

This 2004 Pu-erh Beeng Cha is a Spring-picked cake destined to age with fullness and grace. The leaves chosen for each cake are Qing Ming (Early Spring Picked) which show a great whiteness and sweet aroma. Only the finest leaves are selected for this superior cake. Each cake is compressed and will age spectacularly over time into a top grade cake. The leaves themselves will start to look more red than green, As the leaves age, they will mellow out and astringency will decrease, but in the meantime you can counterbalance the green taste by making sure you do not over-steep. Yields several brews if prepared gongfu style. Each cake is 250 grams.
