The Seven Cakes Young Green Pu-erh is traditionally wrapped in palm leaves to enhance its aging process. Picked in 2004, only the most succulent green leaves were selected for this work of art and fine taste! Each cake is made from raw leaves and will age spectacularly over time into a top grade cake. As the leaves age, they will turn red in color. The flavor will also become more mellow and astringency will decrease, but in the meantime you can counterbalance the green taste by making sure you do not over-steep.
