We eat fish about 2 times a week in my house, but in some homes, like in Japan, they eat fish and get the Omega fatty acids, which are proven brain-food, EVERYDAY. I think there has to be a connection to the stereotype of Asians being so smart and their diet. So instead of cooking fish everyday my husband and I sprinkle Bob's Red Mill Organic Whole ground Flaxseed meal, which is loaded with Omega fatty acids, on our/our kids breakfast cereal everyday. We also add it to smoothies, put it in meatballs or spaghetti sauce, soup and pancake mix. It has practically no taste at all and no one notices. I feel good and my kids seem to be pretty darn smart! :)

Bob's Red Mill Organic Golden Flaxseeds, 24-Ounce Packages (Pack of 4) My husband and I both enjoy downing about a teas of these after a heavy meal that has not included much fiber. We all have those meals, frequently. These flaxseeds are good to chew if you want to get better nutritious returns, but even if you swallow them whole, you will not be disappointed and please know that I am sensitive to taste. They are the most natural and best, in accomplishing mission, of anything available.. I have been amazed at my husband taking them...you know how so many men are about such things, but his reward has more than created eagerness in his taking them as well. Just try them and you will be so happy you did. You'll never go back to those old liquids, artificial or natural, again. I can honestly say we take them with a smile!
