Oskri has removed any mention of "organic" ingredients from this item and it looks like most/all others. It no longer states "Certified Organic", the only mention of "organic" is their name "Oskri Organics" , but this is very deceptive. And Amazon advertises many of these as "Certified Organic" they are not. <br />The bars are VERY sweet and sticky--more like a dessert than snack bar. <br />To QUOTE the Product Description above: <br />"Oskri Organics is committed to offering the best products that are grown and prepared in a natural way, without the use of chemical fertilizers, insecticides, and herbicides." <br />VERY DECEPTIVE.

There is a reviewer on here who complains about things that are non-existent and about which he appears ignorant. First- the only bars displaying the word "organic" anywhere on the label are the sesame bars and the coconut bars- all of which are certified organic. The word does not even appear on the nut bars. Having addressed that issue, let me just say that the nut bars, whether we're talking about the Mixed Nut, the Cashew, or the Desert Date Bars, are all excellent. Some are sweeter than others, but at least they use date syrup and or honey. They are directed toward the typical American's sweet tooth to a certain extent, but they at least absorb slowly and are very tasty. The energy derived from them is slow release and long lasting, as well.
