Hawaiian Lehua Honey:
You are standing at the mouth of the volcano Kilauea on the Big Island of Hawaii. Below you, on the hillsides, the Ohia trees sway in the tropical winds. The honey bees are busy collecting nectar from the Ohia's flower, the Lehua -- a bright pink bloom. The nectar produces a creamy, exotic honey with a totally unique spicy flavor. It's wonderful in coffee, enriching its deep taste. It's creamy consistency makes it fabulous for spreading. Indulge.
Reader Reviews
1) First of all by looking at structure of the product, inconsistent caramel color and taste, I believe it's not pure honey, but rather mix with sugar molasses or sugar syrop or similar. 2) The aftertaste is rather "sugaree" then honey; 3) It has very weak honey smell as well; 4) And on top of all that, even that partial honey taste is far from lehue honey
